These go on equipment rather than on walls, and the failure mode is different: a label that peels, fades or chalks is worse than no label, because the information it carried disappears while everyone still believes the equipment is marked. Adhesive is the first specification — the surface may be powder coated, galvanised, oily, textured or curved, and each of those wants a different adhesive system, with low-surface-energy plastics needing a specific one. The print matters as much. In this climate direct sun and heat will fade an ordinary printed label within a season or two, so anything that must last needs a UV-stable laminate or a subsurface-printed construction, and there should be an expected service life attached to the order rather than a hope. Pipe marking is a related job with a scheme of its own, where content, colour and the flow direction arrow follow a recognised standard such as ASME A13.1 rather than local preference.
The more of this you send, the closer the first quotation lands.
