    Trauma Kits

Sourced and supplied across Saudi Arabia

A trauma kit answers a different question from a first aid kit. A first aid kit is stocked for the injuries a site sees weekly; a trauma kit is stocked for catastrophic bleeding, and it is judged on how fast one item comes out of it under pressure. That is why the contents are short and why layout matters more than quantity — a tourniquet buried under gauze is a tourniquet that arrives late. The core is a limb tourniquet, a haemostatic dressing, a pressure or trauma dressing and, where crush or penetrating injury is credible, a chest seal. Sites running hot work, heavy lifting, cutting or vehicle movement usually mount these alongside the general kit rather than inside it. Tell us how many casualties one kit must cover and whether your procedure names a specific tourniquet.
