A reusable half mask is a carrier, and it is worthless without the right filter on it. The facepiece itself is covered by EN 140; what it protects against is decided entirely by the cartridge fitted, which is a separate specification and a separate purchase. Two failures follow from ignoring that: buying masks with no filters budgeted, and fitting a particulate filter where a gas filter is needed. Half masks also leave the eyes unprotected, so any hazard that irritates eyes pushes the selection up to a full-face device.
The more of this you send, the closer the first quotation lands.
