These are the most device-specific items in a lockout programme and the ones most often ordered blind. A breaker lockout has to grip a particular toggle, in a particular breaker family, at a particular pole width, and a device that grips a single-pole MCB will not hold a three-pole one, while a moulded case breaker needs something different again. The reliable way to order is not from a catalogue description but from the panel: photograph the breakers, note the manufacturer and frame, and count how many of each type are on the site. Two further points. A universal device that clamps rather than grips is genuinely useful for a mixed panel of unknown makes, and is usually the right answer for a maintenance store that has to cover everything. And a breaker that cannot be locked at all needs the isolation moved upstream or a whole-panel solution, which is a design conversation rather than a purchase.
