Sourced and supplied across Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has some of the best solar resource on earth and two conditions that quietly erode it, and both belong in the design rather than in the disappointment afterwards. The first is heat: a module's rated output is measured at a cell temperature of twenty-five degrees, and every degree above that costs output according to the module's temperature coefficient, so an array on a roof at midday in July is producing meaningfully less than its nameplate. The second is dust. Soiling on the glass reduces yield continuously between cleans, and in this region the cleaning interval is a design parameter with a real cost attached, not a maintenance afterthought — which is also why tilt angle and access for cleaning matter. Then say which kind of system it is: an off-grid array with batteries is a different design and a different approval path from a grid-connected one, which needs the utility involved before anything is ordered.
The more of this you send, the closer the first quotation lands.
| System type | Off-grid with battery, grid-connected, or hybrid |
|---|---|
| Load or target output | Daily energy in kWh, or the array size in kWp |
| Site location | Needed for irradiance, ambient temperature and soiling rate |
| Module temperature coefficient | Output loss per degree above the rating condition |
| Soiling and cleaning | Planned cleaning interval and the water and access available |
| Mounting | Roof, ground-mount or carport, and the tilt and orientation |
| Structural and wind loading | Design wind speed at the site |
| Inverter type | String, central or hybrid, with the MPPT count required |
| Battery storage | Autonomy in days, and the chemistry required |
| Utility approval | Required before any grid-connected system is ordered |
| Protection | DC combiner, string fusing, surge protection and isolators |
| Monitoring | String-level monitoring and the reporting required |
| Scope | Supply only, or supply with installation and commissioning |
