Fire hose enquiries fail on couplings more often than on hose. The hose itself is straightforward once diameter, length and working pressure are fixed — EN 694 covers semi-rigid hoses for fixed systems, and specifies maximum working pressures that differ by bore, 1.2 MPa for 19 mm and 25 mm and 0.7 MPa for 33 mm. The coupling is where orders go wrong, because several incompatible patterns are in use across the region and a hose that will not connect to the existing landing valve is scrap. State the coupling type on your installed equipment.
The more of this you send, the closer the first quotation lands.
