    Suppression Systems

Sourced and supplied across Saudi Arabia

Fixed suppression is specified by what is being protected and what the agent will do to it, and to anyone in the room. Clean agent systems under NFPA 2001 use halocarbon or fluoroketone agents that leave no residue, which is why they are chosen for electrical and electronic rooms. Carbon dioxide systems fall under NFPA 12 instead, and carry a life-safety consideration that clean agents do not: CO2 suppresses fire by displacing oxygen, so discharge into an occupied space is dangerous and the design must address occupancy, warning and lock-off.
