A hydrant is part of a water network, not a standalone product, and the specification follows the network rather than the catalogue. Pillar or underground pattern, inlet size and connection, working pressure, and outlet thread are all set by the installed system, and the outlet is the detail that strands deliveries — a hydrant whose outlets do not match the fire service's hoses is decorative. In the Gulf the second consideration is corrosion: buried and coastal installations need a coating and internal protection specification, not just a body material.
The more of this you send, the closer the first quotation lands.
