Disposable nitrile is ordered by the box and specified by almost nobody, which is how sites end up with gloves that tear on donning or offer no real chemical barrier. Three numbers govern it: thickness in mils or millimetres, cuff length, and whether the glove is tested to a chemical standard at all. A thin examination-grade glove and a 8-mil industrial nitrile glove look alike in a photograph and behave nothing alike in a workshop. State the task and the thickness; if there is any chemical contact, say which substances and treat it as a chemical glove selection.
