Safety glasses are bought on price and returned on fog. Two specification points decide whether they get worn: impact energy and lens treatment. EN 166 grades high-speed particle protection as F, B or A — tested at 45, 120 and 190 metres per second — while ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 marks high-impact lenses with a plus sign. A grinding bay needs more than the basic rating; a crew moving from an air-conditioned room to an outdoor unit in Gulf humidity needs the anti-fog marking more than it needs anything else. State the task, not just the quantity.
The more of this you send, the closer the first quotation lands.
