A gin wheel is the simple scaffold pulley used to raise materials by hand rope, mounted on a scaffold tube with a hook or a purpose-made bracket. It is rated for materials only β never for lifting or lowering a person, which requires a man-riding rated winch and a separate fall arrest system. The wheel diameter should suit the rope: too small a sheave crushes the rope and shortens its life sharply, so state the rope diameter with the order.
The more of this you send, the closer the first quotation lands.
