A self retracting lifeline arrests a fall within a much shorter distance than a shock absorbing lanyard, which makes it the correct choice wherever clearance below the work is limited. The cable or webbing pays out and retracts with the worker, so there is no slack to fall through. The decisions that matter are working length, whether the unit will be used at the foot level rather than overhead, and whether rescue retrieval capability is required for confined space entry.
The more of this you send, the closer the first quotation lands.
